Billy simply slid through the hole Florian made in the wall of plants and snickered. This group was even funnier than the human's he had been with! And that was saying something. He looked over to Cherokee and grinned stupidly.
"Hey,gurl. You chill? Ya lookin' kinda zapped for juice,if ya get me.That big bustin' belly be drainin' your mojo, huh?"

She gave a soft nicker of gratitude for the removal of the twig, and the thought of an easier way was a slight relief, but that the humans might have been tipped off was not. His suggestion to get used to it though... Well, she could understand that, and bobbed her head to show that, especially for him with all his hair, but it would be another difficult thing about staying out here. She sighed at the mention of grooming, "Yes, that would be nice about now."

Cherokee followed Florian's example and charged through the trees without a moment's hesitation, letting out a small squeal of pain as her mane got tangled but pulled herself free easily enough and landed in the clearing with a gentle snort, shaking herself off. She was breathing pretty heavily, but she managed to pant a soft, "Th-thank you", to Florian. It seemed he knew his way around this place pretty well, and she was grateful for it. She nodded in reply to Billy and sighed. "I am a little tired out now. I remember back when I used to have so much energy." She chuckled softly.

Florian sighed. "Ach, don't remind me lass. Sometimes when Ah'm covered in mud and all, I remember what it's like tae be groomed, an' I wish I could have it done, one more time..."
He looked over as Cherokee and the other stallion came through, his auds perked at thier words. "Nae trouble at all lass! I knew this patch was around here. Ye can take a breather if ye need to, those humans will probably be searching around here for a bit still."

Something about Florian's words almost seemed to Summer like he was saddened somewhat by the thought, and that in turn saddened her a bit, so she bumped her big white blaze to his cheek in an affectionate gesture, but said nothing. Figuring he probably understood said gesture, afterwards, she turned her attention back to the others, but concern made her linger a little longer on Cherokee.

Florian smiled, nuzzling Summer gently in return.

"Maybe that's a good idea", Cherokee said with a heavy sigh as she sank to her knees, her foal kicking irritably for rest, and she could do nothing but obey her burden. She led down delicately and let her head flop onto the ground as she breathed, her swollen sides heaving with the effort. She was beginning to get sick of feeling so worn out every time she was forced to put on a sprint. She was used to galloping for miles without feeling tired, and now she was lucky if she could reach a few metres. She snorted irritably and shifted on the ground to get comfortable, her tail flicking against her haunches tiredly. "This baby needs to get out of me soon", she grumbled, even though she knew she had quite some time yet before she had that freedom. "It's going to kill me one of these days", she added with a weak chuckle.

Still, very concerned, she lay beside Cherokee, "...I am eager to see what it will be, but we can't change the flow of time... At least you have us with you to help out, though." As an afterthought, she mutter quietly, almost more to herself, "...However, Florian is really the only one who has been of any use to you-- to us..." She shook her head slightly and let out a light sigh before returning her attention to being soothing.

Florian grinned, shook his dial. "I dinnae know how ye manage it lass..." he said to Cherokee "....i'd have near beaten my senses out of me by this point, if I had tae go through what ye all do"

Cherokee snorted as Summer led beside her, and her pride dictated that she get up and shake off the concern. But her limbs told her to rest, just for a little while longer, and her foal had seemingly quietened now she was resting. "I know, it's just annoying. I was too young to become a mother..." she wheezed. "I just fell too far, too fast I suppose." She smiled weakly at Summer and then looked to Florian. "I just have to", she said with a slightly withdrawn look to her, "and besides, this foal's the only thing I have now. The only thing to remind me of its father...which is a good and bad thing." She let her head flop onto the ground and snorted softly. Her stomach rose and fell a little less erratically now, and she flicked her tail against her hindquarters lazily as she steadily caught her breath.

Summer may not have been exactly world wise, but she could see through the tough act well enough; there was something else... Something in Cherokee's words, though she said nothing to that effect. "Well... that may be, but you have us now..."

Billy grinned and laid down on top of the ant pile, effectively pissing them off and causing them to scatter along his body while biting. He twitched and laughed stupidly as he looked at the pregnant mare.
"Ya be doin' a b*tch tits job at haulin' the little dude all over the place, sister.Them ballsy boyz need to have thems pride tied like me so they ain't be doin' none of that.Hide ya foals,an hide ya mares, cause they be rapin' everybody up in here,ya heardz me."he said as the ants began heading for his hindquarters.

Cherokee smiled at the other mare and lifted her head up to look at her. The mare was inexperienced in ways of the world, but it was nice that she was being sympathetic. Cherokee wasn't used to such feelings, and she would have ordinarily brushed her aside. "That's true..." she said softly and smiled again. "Thank you. I didn't expect to meet so many horses along these tracks. It's a welcome surprise." She offered a glance over to Billy and watched the irritated insects swarm over him with little interest. Though it did amuse her to an extent, his words sobered her up. "Well, it wasn't quite like that", she said with a sigh, "I was...we were...in love. And then he got a better offer, instead of a young impressionable filly with her whole life ahead of her and his foal inside of her." She shrugged nonchalantly, trying to ignore the gnawing pit in her stomach where the loneliness seeped into from time to time. She curled her legs tighter around her and rocked herself up, before stumbling and falling down again with a tired and irritated huff.

She rolled her eyes at Billy's antics, though she was amused by them, and cautioned lightly, "I'd watch where those little critters are headed if I were you..." But her attention again returned to Cherokee when she spoke, "Of course!" She gave her a bright smile, but then looked thoughtful a moment, "I think I'd have to say the same. I wasn't quite expecting to run into other horses, but I'm glad I did." Upon hearing the rest of what Cherokee had to say, she began to understand a little better, "Oh, I'm sorry..." And when she tried and failed to get up, Summer gave Cherokee's mane a light tug to keep her in place, "You apparently still need to rest your legs..."
